Eriko and me

It’s been a few weeks since I first had my hair dyed purple in Tokyo, and it had already faded quite a bit. So, when we returned to Tokyo for the last bit of our trip I stopped by Nalu Style Salon 76 to see if there was any chance they could dye it again before I return home.

Luckily they were able to see me today. I decided to go with a bit bolder purple this time, and once again I feel Eriko did a wonderful job! Eriko posted a nice photo of the new color on Instagram. I don’t know when I’ll get to visit Japan again, but when I do, I’ll go back to Salon 76 and have my hair done by her again.

I’m going to try combining the highlights and the Instagram round-up for a given day into one post and see if that makes it easier to get caught up on this blogging thing!

This was the day I finally realized that the sun rises at 4:30am here. That helps explain why, after 5 days, I’m still waking up at 4:45 every day. I thought it was just jet lag, and I couldn’t figure out why I wasn’t getting over it yet.
